Martha Rangel is a Film Editor located in Toronto, Canada. She was born in Recife, Brazil, where she began her career as a student of journalism.

After graduating Martha decided to change direction and pursue a film career with REC Productores, a prestigious Brazilian film production company where she worked as a Producer/Editor.

Four years later, she moved to Toronto where she graduated in Film Production at the Toronto Film School (2007).

To date, Martha’s work experience includes commercials, short films, music videos, as well as concert and corporate videos. Her credits include numerous award winning short films, including “Between the Walls” (Best Short – Festival de Cinema de Gramado , 2005) and “Rhapsody for a Common Man” (Best Fiction – Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival, 2006).

She is also the co-founder of OiToronto, a Canadian/Brazilian online media network, where she works as a Director/Editor.

Currently Martha is a permanent resident of Canada, and she has found her niche in film and video editing.
